The region we visit – Bickley Valley and also Carmel Valley – is situated along the Darling Scarp, which rises roughly 400m above the coastal plains east of Perth. The Scarp itself has a major influence on the climate of this wine region. It helps to moderate daylight hours, shields the vineyards from maritime influences, increases Winter rainfall and provides many topographical aspects to the region.

All the venues that we visit are renowned for their quality produce and excellent service. Wine and cider tasting fees are inclusive of the booking price. Please note, this tour DOES NOT include lunch so please fill the bellies before the tour. Just leave room for nibbles.
We require you to bring a mask to wear on the bus, as it’s a public tour. We thank you for your cooperation.

Kiddies (under 18) ride for $75*
Even littler kiddies (0-3) ride for free – please note that we do not have spots in the bus for baby capsules and there are no baby seats.

*We take a maximum of 9 guests from the one ‘group’ on this tour. Please head to our booking conditions page for more elaboration on this – For groups of 10 or more, please enquire with us regarding a private tour.
Departure Information
We have several pick up locations which include the Perth CBD for the City goers and the Crown Casino for those high rollers. Already in the Valley? We’ll happily pick you up from the Swan Valley Tourism Centre.
Our first pick up is at 12:00pm from the Perth Tourist Bus Stop in the CBD. We will be departing from our last stop in the Swan Valley at approximately 4:30pm. Drop off times may vary depending on the location you want to end up.

Ugly Duckling Wines are a small, boutique family run vineyard and cellar door that over looks their vines and the Perth Hills.
At this charming little vineyard you’re always greeted with a friendly smile and quality service. There’s always a buzz about Ugly Duckling! Especially on the weekends when they have their live acoustic music going from 1:15pm onwards.
Keeping things local, they only produce Swan Valley wines so all the hand crafted wines you try here are a true testament to the Swan Valley.
