The Perth Hills region is fast becoming that ‘go-to’ place for Perth locals and tourists alike. And why wouldn’t it be? Let us start with the landscape – rolling hills and winding roads that wrap around our beautiful native flora, delicious looking fruit orchards and grape vines as far as the eye can see.
Whether it’s nature treks you’re after, hitting up the glorious markets with family or enjoying premium wine and cuisine, there’s something for everyone.

The Perth Hills Wine Region is one of the youngest in Western Australia – Compared with our historic Swan Valley, which made its debut in wine making in the early 1830’s, this Perth Hills region was first published as an official ‘wine-growing region’ in the April of 1999.
The region we visit – Bickley Valley and also Carmel Valley – is situated along the Darling Scarp, which rises roughly 400m above the coastal plains east of Perth. The Scarp itself has a major influence on the climate of this wine region. It helps to moderate daylight hours, shields the vineyards from maritime influences, increases Winter rainfall and provides many topographical aspects to the region.
The region still gets warm dry summers allowing for the grapes to reach full ripeness before harvest time commencing middle of February each year.
Due to it’s unique climate the wine-makers can grow a diverse range of vines that you won’t usually find all together in the Swan Valley Wine Region or the Margaret River Wine Region.

What We Offer
Let d’Vine Tours take you on a scenic drive up to the Perth Hills, where you’ll be amazed by the wines, breathtaking views, delicious food and friendly people. To get to this beautiful region it only takes us approximately 35 minutes – so you don’t have to wait too long before getting stuck into premium wines and cheese at your first stop!
Each of the boutique wineries that we visit have their own uniqueness and offer an intimate experience that you just can’t find at bigger commercialised establishments. At each cellar door you’ll often meet the owner or winemaker and to hear their stories whilst tasting their wines makes you want to stay there for the rest of the day.
Our Tour Includes

A gourmet two-course lunch at Core Cider House*
A regular cider of your choice with lunch
A guided tour in a comfortable, air-conditioned mini-bus
All the venues that we visit are renowned for their quality produce and excellent service. Wine and cider tasting fees are inclusive of the booking price.
*Lunch at Core Cider is d’Vine!! You’ll receive a choice two-course set menu – You definitely won’t be going hungry on this tour!

Kiddies (under 18) ride for $98*
Even littler kiddies (0-3) ride for free. Please note that we do not have spots in the bus for baby capsules and there are no baby seats.

*We take a maximum of 8 guests from the one ‘group’ on this tour. Please head to our booking conditions page for more elaboration on this – For groups of 9 or more, please enquire with us regarding your options.
Departure Information
Our first pick up is at 10.05am from the Bus Zone in Barrack Square (Barrack St Jetty) in the CBD. We also collect from the Riverside Entrance at the Crown Casino at 10:15am.
We will be departing from our last stop at approximately 3:30-3:45pm. Drop off times may vary depending on the location you want to end up.
Our Bickley Valley Tours currently run on Saturdays and Sundays. We only take smaller group sizes for this tour so you will always be guaranteed a more quality and intimate experience.

This little family owned vineyard is one of our FAV in the Perth Hills. They have an extensive range of hand crafted wines to try as well as delectable cheeses to indulge in.
Due to the climate in the Bickley Valley Region being similar to inland Spain and Portugal, Myattsfield like to focus on the varieties that grow well in those countries.
